JD is President & Chief Executive Officer. JD has been in the energy industry for over 16 years.  With a vast range of experience, including land service work on behalf of exploration and production, and midstream clients, oil and gas mineral rights acquisitions and divestitures, and drilling and operating wells, JD is well versed in negotiations and review of contracts, purchase and sale agreements, land records, certified title opinions, deeds, right-of-way’s, and all of the legal documents pertaining to the acquisitions, permitting, surface use agreements, multi-use surface use agreements, and divestitures. JD managed and employed in excess of 300 staff members throughout multiple offices throughout the United States such as Oklahoma City “Oklahoma Tower”, Bridgeville, PA, Kingwood, WV, and a footprint in Texas and Colorado, that JD launched and opened while building his land services company. JD is responsible for executive level and senior management team’s execution, overseeing day-to-day operations, as well as the acquisitions of assets, and securing investment and debt options for the ongoing company’s business plans. JD has successfully purchased and produced oil and gas operating WI since 2011; purchased oil and gas mineral rights in the core of the core Marcellus and Utica shale plays since 2008. He successfully led a divesture of assets owned by JD’s companies as well as additional interests he negotiated to buy as add-on acreage to the deal with Rice Energy just prior to Rice’s sale to EQT. JD is married with two children and resides in West Virginia. JD spends his time outside of the office with his wife, two boys, and Ronny (family pup) camping, playing music with his family’s band, hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.

Junior is Chief Operating Officer. Junior is a highly accomplished senior petroleum geologist with over thirty years of operational expertise in the exploration and development of oil and gas reservoirs with a heavy focus in the eastern United States and Canada. He developed an early proficiency in shale and tight sand reservoirs, initially doing graduate research on the Devonian shales in eastern Kentucky, and subsequently drilling hundreds of shale and tight formation wells in a 17-year stint with Ashland Exploration. During this period, pioneering work also occurred within the deep Rome trough in Kentucky, with the first commercial gas and liquid production from Cambrian age reservoirs occurring. This early work helped to spur interest in the deep Cambrian Rogersville shale play which is active today. Subsequent positions with Eastern States and Columbia Natural Resources included a continuation of shale and tight formation drilling, extending from Tennessee to eastern Canada. More recent work with ABARTA Energy oversaw the successful implementation of horizontal oil development in the Berea Sandstone and the discovery of several new gas fields in the Onondaga and Big Six Sandstone in eastern Kentucky. In addition to working with unconventional reservoirs, extensive prospecting and drilling has occurred in conventional reservoirs throughout the Illinois and Appalachian basins. Junior received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology from West Virginia University. He is a Certified Professional Geologist with A.I.P.G. and a Registered Professional Geologist with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Tim is Chief Financial Officer. He began his accounting career In the U. S. Air Force where he served for four years. After which he started working in the accounting field in the private and public sectors while earning his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida. After the completion of his degree, he moved back to West Virginia and was employed at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank, West Virginia, where he was responsible for the global cash flow of the Observatory and the annual external audits performed by Ernst & Young and KPMG. He traveled to Santiago, Chile, on multiple occasions to oversee the startup of the Observatory’s new accounting office. While working at the Observatory, he received his West Virginia Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Before joining the team at Warrior Oil & Gas, Tim was employed at West Virginia University where he managed the tax compliance office.

George is a Petroleum Engineer. He was born and raised in West Virginia, I have seen the importance of the energy industry to the state through coal and natural gas production and wanted to be a part of providing that necessity, especially locally. I received my B.S. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from WVU, where I was a member of the university chapters of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE), which allowed me to obtain my well control certification from Wild Well Control during my time in school. Currently, I work as a petroleum engineer focusing on mineral acquisitions, where I typically handle underwriting through reservoir and production analysis, with some West Virginia ingenuity to help. Combining my education with mineral acquisitions has allowed me to apply my skills to typical engineering tasks as well as land-related tasks, which has created a synthesis from well planning to land acquisitions to drilling to completion and finally production, creating a unique perspective. I joined the Warrior team in 2021 and have been focusing on acquiring minerals in West Virginia while simultaneously providing a satisfying experience for those who conduct business with us.
